Bronze Rabbit Ornament

Description:
Whimsical, miniature bronze statues in the shapes of rabbits. Each figurine is individually cast by hand, similar to how jewelry is made. Their material weight is counter balanced by their small silhouette, you'll be charmed by its appearance for years to come.

History: 

Founded in 1860, Kohachiro Odera Shoten is based in Takaoka City, which is also home to Takaoka copperware, the traditional craft of Japanese casting. Currently, 95% of temple bells, Buddhist statues, and bronze statues of Japanese temples are made in Takaoka city by different storefronts. The cast-wares of Odera are done by 3rd and 4th generation artisans known for their skills in creating graceful curves and beautifully finished objects.

Each is carefully made by hand and will show some variation. Due to the nature of the material, the metal will patina and change in color and appearance over time.

Care Instructions:
Do not leave wet or in a moist area. Keep away from children.

 

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund - minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
