Kenzan Flower Frogs

Kenzan Flower Frogs

Description:
Each kenzan is made up of a heavy base with many spikes. Flowers can be speared onto the kenzan to create beautiful, unique flower arrangements. Not only does the use of a kenzan in flower arranging lead to a beautiful appearance, your flowers will also stay alive for a longer period of time. Place inside any bowl or deep plate for a serene flower arrangement.

History:

Kenzan are crucial tools in the art of Ikebana, a method of flower arranging that has been practiced in Japan since the Heian Period (794 - 1185). At first, flower arrangements mostly appeared at Buddhist shrines. Ikebana continues to be included in Japanese tea ceremonies and as a source of beauty inside of the home.

Measurement:
S - 2" diameter
M - 2.5" diameter
L - 3.4" diameter

Steel with silicon ring along base to hold kenzan in place.
