S/N Brass Incense Holders
S/N is an expression of understated luxury through traditional craft. This incense holder is designed with a wide rim to catch falling ash, and also to add extra weight and balance for the purposes of holding longer incense. The brass will patina as it ages, exposing its true beauty over time.

History:
The S/N series is collaborative line designed by Tortoise owner, Taku Shinomoto, and hand-made by the master craftspeople behind Nousaku Works. Located in the historical city of Takaoka, Takaoka City in Toyama Prefecture has a 400-year history of metal casting. Utilizing casting techniques handed down from generation to generation, Nousaku was established in 1916 primarily as a producer of Buddhist altar equipment, tea utensils, and flower vases. In recent years, the company has turned its focus to tableware, interior goods, and lighting fixtures, breaking the mold of a traditional industry by making products to complement modern lifestyles.
