White porcelain watercolor palette.

History: Made in Mino region in Gifu prefecture, these porcelain wares were produced from the 1960's - 1970's, and intended to be exported to the U.S and European markets. Originally designed to have decorative patterns on them, they were lost in the production process and remained plain white.
